Supported python version

is there any plans in the near future to increase support for python? at the moment it is only supported by python 2.7 and 3.6, however 3.9 is is the newest version.

im not missing anything from the current supported versions. However, the place where I work is no longer going to allow python 3.6 soon, so ill have to move away from it
