Bluetooth Audio Cracking

PostWed Jul 07, 2021 3:26 am

I have a Logitech g pro x wireless headset and when using it through Bluetooth my audio when using fairlight to voice over is very staticky and will not stop crackling. I plugged my normal headset in and the app works fine but I would like to use my brand new bluetooth headset. Any ideas why this would be happening? Thank you

Can you upgrade to 17.2.2 if you are not using that?
During the instal, select customer so you also install the latest DaVinci Resolve Panels Setup which is used for the speed editor.

update your speed editor firmware

run 17.2.2 and test

So I currently am running 17.2.2. This is my first time using DaVinci Resolve so I'm sorry if I sound stupid lol. I do not own a speed editor so updating its firmware would not be possible? Also I will try to figure out the panel setup!

If you dont have the Speed Editor or another keyboard you wont need to worry about the Panels app.

Jake

Please take a look at FAQs here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=90190 for detail that is useful to us when posting an issue.

For audio devices, please check a few possibilities:
a. do sample rates for your windows audio and your Resolve project settings match? are they both 48KHz for example?
b. Check for possible signal interference. You can find instruction lists from various manufacturers - e.g. this from Sony
c. Bluetooth transmitters and/or headsets can have lower bandwidths (and hence can throttle easier) than plugged in monitors. You may wish to check with your manufacturer for both and see if that is a factor.
