Hello!
This is probably going to sound ridiculous to you guys, because I am using Davinci Resolve for really basic stuff compared to you, but I'm giving it a try!
I've been editing a bunch small videos for my Youtube channel, 99% of which are short video game recordings (from 1 to 15 minutes), but I edit a lot of them. It's roughly one per level in the games. Most of the time, the edits are very minor... fade in/out at beginning or end... Add text at beginning or end.
So far, everything was fine with rendering, because I was only doing 1080P at 30FPS. Now I wanted to start 4K at 60FPS, and of course the rendering time has increased drastically. My (weird) question is, can I somehow make Davinci Resolve render only specific parts of the videos and keep the rest intact. The source video is already MP4/H264 and ready to upload to Youtube and I would not mind Davinci Resolve to re-encode it in the exact same way, as long as it's the same format compatible with Youtube. What I mean is, I have very small portions at the beginning or at the end that are different and the rest could just stay exactly the same... If I could just set it to keep the exact same format as the source video, maybe it wouldn't have to go through several minutes of the video just to produce the exact same output?
If this is too basic or too weird or just stupid, just tell me, I'll leave!
Thanks
