Does the free version support H.265 and Dolby Vision HDR?

PostMon Jul 12, 2021 9:07 am

Hey,
I am filming on an iPhone 12 Pro Max with H.265 and Dolby Vison 10-Bit HDR and want to edit my videos in DaVinci Resolve (free version). I wanted to ask if the free version of resolve support these things since the last time I edited the video material looked downgraded to me. I edit on a PC and even heard that only Mac OS is capable of doing it.
Thanks for your help

PC will do, but you'll need Studio.
AFAIK, you can record in another codec with FiLMiC Pro.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
