DaVinci Resolve 17.2.2
Slideshow of 25 stills, all 3840 x 2160, 5 second cross dissolve between each still
Output to 1920 x 1080 @ 30 fps
MacBook Pro 13“ Apple Silicon M1, 16 GB RAM
Output with iMovie is 1.5x as fast.
Rather simple projects with video clips as source usually render in about ⅓ of the real video running time on the M1 platforms I have tested. No matter if it’s iMovie, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
The same is true for stills slideshows on iMovie and FCP. DaVinci Resolve however takes up to ⅔ of the real running time to render.
Anyone having similar experience or ways to solve this?
