Can't update converters to 7.6.1

My BiDirectional 3G converters keep stuck at version 7.5.3, anyone a solution? The latest update should fix the remote tint control problem with Ursa camera's connected to an Atem Mini.

7.6.1 has no firmwareupdate included for the 3G > only 12G

Well I always read the information, and it says:
"What's new in Converter Utility 7.6.1
General performance and stability improvements." That's all.

Verion 7.6 says:
"Support for 5.1 audio mapping and extended color range for Micro Converter BiDirectional SDI/HDMI 3G."

But also version 7.6 won't install. As I told my converter keeps in version 7.5.3

it is for the mini optical 12 converter, and NOT for the micro

and yes, you can set this, start with the 7.6 utility, and has nothing to do with the firmware

But it doesn't work, Blackmagic told me the problem should be gone in the latest versions but it doesn't.

7.6 has the latest update for Bidirectional 3G, 7.6.1 only has new update for the Mini Converter SDI Optical Fiber 12.

Yes I know, but it doesn’t fix the problem as described in my first post.

I have the same problem, trying to update 12 BiDirectional 3G but they are stuck at 7.5.3
Other models updated without a hitch.
Serial number for one of them is 8883091

I need this update because you can’t control tint on UMPG2 by Atem Software Control connected to 3G Bi-directional and Atem Extreme. So please Blackmagic fix it.

Am I using the latest firmware for BiDirectional 3G? (See the picture) - Converters Setup 7.6.1 - gives Version 7.5.3, Build 85e62084. Should it not say 7.6.1 or atleast 7.6?

Yes, this is the latest, you have the audio mapping option. Blackmagic update versions are always very confusing, but that’s because their updates are for several devices.

How can we update our Mini Converters Optical Fiber 12G as these converters don't have any USB port at all ?
Should we open the converter and push the update through the UBS port on the PCB ?
There is no procedure described either in the manual or inside the update release description.

There is a USB Mini connector on the inside for updates, but there are no updates available for this unit AFAIK. I checked recently as I had a faulty unit delivered.

As mentionned previously, the last converter update targeted specifically the Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G.
We're just in the process of updating them one by one; the lack of external usb port making this operation much longer as usual. But yes the update is available for this unit.

Oh, my bad. I only saw the summary, saying manufacturing improvements, aka supporting different revisions of PCBs / mounted components etc.

Juste got a response from Blackmagic Support :

The Mini Converter Optical Fiber 12G Is not user updatable.

The update listed is only factory loaded to new devices and would not have any affect on your Converter.
