@Rob:

Check the results of `glxinfo` and `clinfo` to make sure everything is in order
(or put them on pastebin so we can check them)

Hi i have the same problem as well,

It says "Unsupported GPU Processing Mode" and when i go to update config and then to Memory and GPU it says my AMD Radeon RX 570 has -0.0GB of memory and that its Discrete and that it is Unknown and not supported. Is there any way to fix this or is this just my GPU?

Aryan.

In a File Explorer window, go to:

C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

and run CaptureLogs

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Then open Windows System Information and do a File - Save (Not a File Export), which will generate a .NFO file.

Place both those files on a file sharing site and provide links to the files here.

I also started getting the same exact message after upgrade. When I try to check the setting, Under "Memory and GPU" I don't see my Graphics Card listed. My graphics card is AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT.

Here is my captured logs and system information:

Anybody tried downgrading the Davinci Resolve?

Challenging when you update Resolve and the AMD driver at the same time.

Resolve 17.4.3 was working with AMD Adrenaline driver 20.12.1

You currently have 23.3.2 installed.

I'd probably suggest installing 17.4.3, since that was working. If it also fails to detect the AMD GPU, then it would seem like the AMD 23.3.2 driver is causing the issue. In that case, you could try going back to the 20.12.1 driver, then verify 17.4.3 still works with that, then install 17.4.6.

To install an older Resolve version on a Windows system, you have to uninstall Resolve first. Do that by selecting Windows Settings - Apps - Apps & features, clicking DaVinci Resolve and selecting Uninstall.

Your Intel iGPU driver is from May 2018, and doesn't support Resolve.

Unfortunately, that's the latest driver HP has for your Convertible PC.

All I can suggest is going to the Intel video driver site and download a current UHD 620 driver and install it.

The Intel driver installer often does not like replacing a manufacturer video driver on laptops. If that happens, you'll need to use something like DDU to remove the current 23.20.16.5044 driver. Then the Intel driver installer should work.

Here's a link to a forum thread on how to use DDU to remove the Intel driver, should you need to:

Thanks for checking. I figured it was somehow outdated. I will try to get it updated and see if that fixes the problem. If not I guess it might be time to upgrade though I don't think that was a "cheap" model when I got it.
I don't know a whole lot about computers but if I do have to get a new one are laptops good choices or would a traditional PC be better for the money. I just want something "powerful" that will last a while (at least 5 or 6 years) All I will use it for is lightroom/photoshop and editing 4k videos.
I like the convenience of a laptop but if a PC will last longer I would rather have it I think.

If you want a laptop, the new Apple machines are the better choice at this point in time.
I'm sure PC laptops will try to compete, but that may take some time.

If you want future-proofing, go for a desktop, where you can exchange parts for new ones.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.

I had 17.4.6 Studio (win10 ) installed on 2 Pc's (AMD RX560 and RX5600XT).
Both graphics cards were recognized.

The 18 beta did not work with Adrealin 17.4..6 (crashes and other).
With Adrenalin 22.4.1 the 18 Beta works (so far) again without problems.

After 3 days I can do it

I try all this
-Change Config.bat
-Change windows 10 to 11
- Trying with different types of drivers and sofwares for my Radeon rx 580
- Disconnect All device (physical)
- Disconnect my second Screen

But my problem was that when I used a program called Parsec to share my screen, it created a virtual screen and when I deactivated it in the device manger, everything was solved
