I just re-bought Resolve studio (originally purchased on the Mac App store) so that I could get access to the Proxy generator. I originally tried the free version but found it very buggy. Now that I have the paid version (& non-lite proxy generator), I'm finding there's a root issue with .mxf files. Proxy Generator will render .mp4, .mov, it seems any file other than .mxf. Is anyone bumping into this issue?
I'm running the M1 chip, the newest mac OS, newest Resolve.
When I miraculously get one or two proxies out of the app before it crashes, they all seem to show the first frame, then are missing the following second of footage, showing the token "Media Offline" screen on playback.

this screen shows for about a second on each proxy file

This is the opening frame of the proxy - looks fine
Are you seeing the first frame followed by about a second of 'off-line' and then the rest is ok on each clip?
Wow - I just imported some footage from my Sony X70 camera that shoots HD 4:2:2 10-bit XAVC-L in an MXF wrapper and Resolve Studio 18.0.4 exhibits exactly the same issue with my footage (frame + offline + balance of the shot is ok).
I should probably report this in a separate thread. I'm thinking that Resolve is not dealing with some mxc files correctly.

Sorry, Cody, but there's nothing wrong here. I left your folder structure as it is, pointed the Proxy Generator to the top folder and started it. It generates the proxies without a hitch and they play fine from the first frame. BTW, I encode to ProRes.
