how to copy color correction to all clips in the color tab, while not losing clip stabilization?

Selecting Color on the Keyframes panel protects all sizing parameters, including stabilisation. I don't see how you could be losing stabilisation if you did set the mode to Color. Note that when you restart Resolve, it always goes back to All (which includes Color and Sizing), rather than remembering your last setting.

this only happens when i copy with ctrl c + ctrl v and paste on clip, regardless of keyframe selection :(
When I use stills and apply grade everything is fine

Ah, it is indeed a bug, and I've managed to reproduce it.

I've never encountered it before, because I use the legacy setting for cut and paste ("Always perform copy and paste on selected nodes" is turned on in User Preferences, Color Page). This means that CTRL-V can only paste a single node, never the full clip grade.

You probably have this option off, which means that CTRL-V pastes the full clip grade when you have the thumbnail area in focus, or just the node when you have the node tree panel in focus. The former seems to ignore the Keyframe Mode (copying sizing data even when Color mode is selected). Middle clicking or applying a grade always take the KF mode into account.

This is sadly still present in the latest 19.1 build 12:

Whenever I copy the previous grade to the next clip in the Color tab (Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V), the stabilization settings are carried over to the next shot *ALONG* with its tracking data making an absolute mess if you do not re-stabilize.

This is also apparent with the Gyroflow plugin which binds to the data calculated for each particular file - if you do not click "Load for current file" then you are also in for a bad trip.

Contrary to the infamous "New frames need analyzing; click Analyze" blue message in Premiere Pro, Resolve's Stabilization is a silent killer that strikes also whenever you extend the clip duration or change in/out points of it - you won't see a notification but you'll definitely witness a sudden FOV shift for the unresolved frames.

A good solution would be a setting that either you choose to ignore copying stabilization settings or force the module to re-calculate the stabilization data whenever any changes occur.

Version 19.1.3 - this maddening bug is still present.

I also found out that it that the FOV jumps caused by the Stabilizer can also occur when using it on 25 FPS clips on a 50 FPS timeline - this will occur on the last frames of a certain cut. You will see it in the rendered clip tough so it's especially painful to track it.

We definitely need better behavior of this plugin as there is no easy way to batch re-run the Stabilizer on each clip so you have to go one by one and even then you need to check the render if it won't f*** up.

Hopefully someone from BMD can have a look at it as the Stabilizer produces very pleasing results on little handheld camera jitters.

If you want to copy only stabilization or only color from clip to clip in color page, use node graph. Its the color page equivalent of copy and paste attributes. Select clip or clips you want to paste to, and right click on the clip you want to copy from. Choose node graph. Than select what oyu want to copy to other nodes.
