If I show, for example, the scene, angle, and take columns I can edit scene and take directly in the list but I can't edit angle. Bummer!

You can click on the angle right in the clips list and edit it? Maybe it’s a Mac-only issue.

On my MacBook, on the media page, in list view, I can't edit the Angle column (whereas the Shot column can be edited in this mode). Is this what you are reporting, Joe?

Well... I can edit the Shot column and the Take... Not sure why BMD limits editable columns in the way it does... Angle is part of the same grouping of metadata values... Doesn't make any sense to me.

Actually from what I'm seeing it's possible to edit all the metadata that can be edited by the inspector ( if I remember correctly from version 17?)

Maybe not exactly what you want, but you can enter text into the Angle field in the Metadata panel by selecting Shot & Scene when the clip is in the Media Pool. It then appears in the Media Pool list view.

Yup. That’s what I’ve been doing. Just reporting this as to me it’s something that should be fixed.

I don't remember Shot and Scene etc being editable in List View in the past... is this new in 18.5? If so, maybe more is coming. Or maybe it's just a Mac thing, none of those fields work for me on my PC running 18.1.4. For what it's worth (on my Mac), Camera# is also editable in list view... useful for prepping multicam media. Thanks for pointing out the behaviour.
Yup. There are a few things that FCP7 had with entering data in a table that would be wonderful in Resolve. The main one being Shift+Enter going to the next cell down in input mode. Great for entering take 1, 2, etc
Think I made this feature request many years ago.
