Hello,
I would like to let you all know that there is currently a bug in the Desktop Video software, version 14.0 and the latest 14.0.1.
I'm using Windows 10 and multiple 'Decklink Duo 2' cards. (It could be also with the other variants, but I've not tested that).
After I boot the pc, the ports are all linked/mapped together: (As if you would use, for key/fill output for example).
In the desktop video setup, I can see:
- Port 1 to SDI1 & SDI2
- Port 3 to SDI3 & SDI4
- Port 2 to None
- Port 4 to None
So ports 2 and 4 are not usable as normal.
It's not what I have set, and it's not possible to edit: If I select another mapping option, and click Save, and re open that port config. It's still the same mapping as before editting.
After a reboot, it's working again. All mapping settings, are back at what I have set, and editable. Very strange!
When I do a shutdown. And then after a few seconds boot the desktop again, It's the problem again. (Until I choose again to reboot in Windows, than it's normal again after the reboot).
I have tested this problem on 3 different Desktops, with all different Decklink Duo 2 cards. And all have the same issue, and all work (temporary) normal after the extra reboot after boot.
Problem is with Desktop Video version 14.0 and the latest 14.0.1.
With the latest version before that: 12.9, it's working normal.
I've send a message to BM also. But I think it's possible that more people encouter problems currently with not usable input/output ports on there Decklink cards. Tempory fix: Downgrade to 12.9
