I run custom fan curves that are set from GPU temps.
When rendering projects with noise reduction, speed warp etc, the temps can crank up and then, so do the fans.
If the GPU temps are not reported, the fans don't spin up, and it could melt/ruin my $1,200 RTX 4080.
So not an issue to ignore imo.
Really amazing how fast Nvidia pushed out a fix
