n00b here... I am a BIG proponent of just 'LET THEM ROLL' and video all also.
But that wont help you now.
Try this maybe? I do this when I have 8-13 video angles of a performance, and one matrix audio track I want to use.
Put all 15 video clips, and the final audio clip into the media bin.
Select all.
Right click, select 'Create a multicam timeline'.
Sync by sound.
It should put each video clip in synch with your audio clip in a 16 channel multicam timeline.
Then edit away.

BUT MAYBE easier/better.... I have never checked the box "detect clips from same camera" when making a multicam.
Lets suppose it 'detects clips from the same camera' and groups them all together in one angle, with appropriate blank spots between. That would be cool.

And I just got off my butt and looked in the help section... looks like that might be 'zactly what you need to do. End up with a multicam project with only two angles (video clips, and audio 'angle')
