The difference between "edited" and "finished" is too subtle for this audience; I don't think Blackmagic has any reason to tell him to stop, and besides he's not speaking for BMD he's speaking for himself. People misrepresent other companies' products every day.
Hopefully you folks are not comfortable with people being mislead.
I suppose I should notify the FTC and the appropriate folks in whatever state his company is registered.
On a side note, I find it disturbing that many, if not most humans are OK with the rampant incorrectness in the creative industry. Such as 4K TV (it's UHD) and Full HD (no such standard, it was made up by TV sellers).
