I expect that the battery level does not change when you connect even if it is fully charged. I think it is just showing what it remembered for the last time it was paired. That happened to me as I thought the Speed Editor needed charging. I charged it on a USB charger over night and it still indicated the same charge level. It was the clue to me it was not showing the connected Speed Editor just what it had in memory. That is when I disabled all Bluetooth on the PC. Took the Speed Editor to another room. Shut down and re started the PC. Went in and disabled the Speed Editor in pairing. Shut down again and re started to confirm it was gone. Then brought in the Speed Editor and paired again. Knew this time it was correct because it now showed full charge. It then worked fine and has done so ever since.
