Change the color of water in a background

My video is an aerial of a marina. There is zoom, pan and perspective. The water is too brown and I want to change it to a blue hue. I used points around the water but it will not track the water area closely. The points do not follow the shoreline and the marina. Is there a video tutorial for this? I am new to Davinci Resolve 17.

Hey John. This is pretty common tasks and there's a lot of tutorial in YouTube on how to do this. More or less, you'll need to select the object you want to change the color to like using a qualifier and/or use power windows to isolate the area, track the object, and use the color wheels or curves to change the color. Here is one of the many YT videos that shows you how to do this. This one is in Resolve 16 but 17 should be just the same.

Water is near impossible to track. Track the environment and use the inverted mask.
